One of the faster growing manzanitas. A dense, low, evergreen 6”H ground cover spreading up to 12’W. Bright green leaves with ruddy branches and stems. Great for slopes, thriving in well-drained soil but also grows well in heavier clay soil that has reasonable drainage. Does well in full sun or part shade. Drought tolerant, but occasional watering every 4-6 weeks will keep this manzanita looking extra dapper. A scattering of white to pale pink flowers will late spring to early summer.
