Medium-large (8’Hx8’W), semi-deciduous shrub that is polymorphous. Some forms are so nearly evergreen as to be evergreen; habit varies widely. Flowers are usually white but occasionally shades of blue. Grows best in the shade of conifers and/or oaks.
