Large deciduous shrub, growing 6-12 ft. (as much as 20 ft.) tall and wide. Smooth, glossy bright- green leaves turn yellow in the fall. Summer-blooming, creamy white flowers have a pincushion-like appearance. Globe-like fruits persists into winter and attract birds. Plant in sun to light shade with regular summer water or continuously moist or wet soils.
