Semi-evergreen large shrub or small tree (8-15’H & W) with birch-like leaves and silver-grey bark and an open habit. Small, honey-scented flowers in spring followed by seeds with silky, curled, feather-like tails. Grows in full sun to light shade; adaptable to different water regimes, from moderate irrigation to no water once established. Somewhat deer resistant.
