Garrya fremontii
An evergreen shrub 9-12’H and as wide. Leathery leaves are smooth green. The plant is dioecious, with male and female plants producing long, hanging clusters of yellowish to pinkish flowers in late winter and early spring. Fruit is a spherical berry, starting green and turning pink and then purple.
