An upright to sprawling woody perennial. It ranges from 1-3’ high by same width. Foliage can be either a smooth dark green or a hairy dark grey-green, with many gradations in between. The flowers vary from white and pale pink to light bluish-purple. Full sun to part shade. Very attractive to butterflies.
