A very large, evergreen shrub or small tree up to 30-50’H x 30’W, with dense, leathery foliage. Small clusters of white flowers are small produced on racemes in the spring. Birds love the small, cherry-like fruit which is edible and sweet, but contains little flesh surrounding the smooth seed. Great plant for screening.
