Fast-growing, vigorous plant that spreads by creeping rhizomes. Dense clumps of upright stems grow 1 to 4’H. In bloom, it puts on a spectacular show summer through fall, the stems tipped with masses of golden yellow flowers, which are a nectar heaven for bees, butterflies and other insects. They also make a good cut flower.
