Symphoricarpos albus



A moderately fast-growing, long-lived, deciduous round shrub to 5’H with droopy stem tips; spreads by rhizomes to form a dense thicket where conditions are suitable. Leaves are medium green and deciduous. Flowers are pink and bloom in the early summer. Fruit is a white berry that is valued by wildlife but toxic to people. Best in shade. Good for bank stabilization and to attract wildlife.
